The Machine

The Machine’s physical appearance and whereabouts are unknown, making it impossible to track or destroy. Some think that it is a network of programming grids scattered around the city while others doubt its physical presence completely. All that is known about The Machine is that it was created to keep the city safe and govern it without the flaws of human emotion or mistakes. The Machine is a ghostly totalitarian leader that watches over the city silently, letting its droids work in its stead.

The Droids

The Droids are street stalking hulks of machinery that serve The Machine. They uphold the laws first hand and spread The Machine’s messages throughout the city. They are the only things in the city permitted to carry guns, and they do, along with an entire arsenal of weaponry hidden within their metal bodies. It isn’t rare for them to malfunction and murder civilians without a cause, nor is it rare for them to execute on sight. Fearsome and emotionless, these giant robotic men are the stuff of nightmares.
